Old Fashion Christmas By Priscilla Ortiz of Priscilla's Parlor Our store is an antique,vintage shop and we value all things from the past. I have noticed in the last several months that many people are becoming more attracted to the values of the past. It seems that many have grown tired of the spoiled,demanding generation that we are dealing with in this day and age. I have so many people come to the shop for the peaceful,pleasant atmosphere and the joy of searching through our treasures for the perfect childhood memory. If ever there were a time of reminiscing and longing for the simple pleasures of the past it is now. I would rather spend an afternoon visiting the past than receive any gift there is to give! I think we should return to those values and start enjoying our lives as God intended. I may not become rich at my business but I will have gained the friendship of many and the peace of knowing I have given someone a wonderful memory with the link to the past my shop offers. In this busy season stop to remember that special time you shared with your loved ones and see if it doesn't bring a smile to your lips! Merry Christmas and God's Blessings to You!
